We offer a full money-back guarantee for all Deed Polls issued by the UK Name Change Service. This means that if your Deed Poll is rejected as evidence of your legal name change by any government agency, private company or other organisation within the United Kingdom, we will give you a full refund of all money paid to us in relation to the particular Deed Poll application.

Be aware though that there are certain requirements which must be met before we will issue a refund under our name change guarantee. For example, we will issue a cheque in your name for the cost of your Deed Poll application but only after you have provided us with the full details of the organisation which refused your Deed Poll in order for us to confirm that they did indeed reject your Deed Poll and also to ascertain the reason for their rejection. We may also request that you make your Deed Poll available to us for inspection to ensure that you executed the Change of Name Deed correctly.

We also have some exclusions to our name change guarantee which will mean that you are not entitled to a refund if your Deed Poll application falls into one of our excluded categories:

If you are a foreign national living in the United Kingdom
If your Deed Poll was not correctly executed
If a child Deed Poll is rejected because the record holders parental consent requirements have not been met
If your Deed Poll is rejected because the record holder requires further evidence that your name has changed for "all purposes"
If you were told that your Deed Poll would not be covered by our guarantee at the time your application was being processed but decided to proceed regardless
