Whichever way you choose to submit your application, your Deed Poll will be sent to you by Royal Mail first class post to ensure that your documents arrive promtly. If you are in a hurry for your Deed Poll, you can opt to use one of our upgraded processing services. More information will be given to you about processing services when you complete the application form or by the name change advisor if you are applying over the phone.

Along with your Deed Poll, you will also get a comprehensive information pack with a step-by-step guide to executing (signing) your Deed and a list of common organisations which you may need to inform of your change of name.

Your Deed Poll pack will include:

• Your Deed of Change of Name (Deed Poll);
• Illustrated instructions on how to correctly sign your Deed Poll;
• Example letter for notifing organisations of your name change;
• Your original letter of consent (for child Deed Polls only).
