How Can I Pay For My Deed Poll?

We accept the following payment methods for Deed Poll applications and associated services:

Credit or debit card

Paying by credit or debit card is the fastest and most convenient way to pay for your Deed Poll or related services. You can pay online over our secure payment server or you can call our helpline on 0800 622 6849 and a member of staff will manually process your payment.

Once we have received "authorisation" (which is instant) from your issuing bank or credit card company we will begin to process your application in accordance with your chosen processing service.

Cheque

If you are planning on paying for your Deed Poll application by Cheque you should first consider the time delays in using this method. Firstly, you must wait for the Cheque to arrive at our office which in its self can take three working days if you are sending it by First Class post. Secondly, we must bank the Cheque and then there is a further delay of up to five working days while the Cheque clears and then we can begin to process your application.

Cheques should be made payable to The Deed Poll Service and sent by post to: Payment Processing, The Deed Poll Service, 15 Vicarage Road, Dagenham, Essex, RM10 9SD. We always advise that you cross any Cheque that is to be sent by post.

Postal Orders

Although crossed Postal Orders are now dealt with in the same way as Cheques (they have to be paid into a bank account and take five working days to clear), we treat them as cash and as such will process your Deed Poll application as soon as the Postal Order arrives at our office.

Postal Orders should be made payable to The Deed Poll Service and sent by post to: Payment Processing, The Deed Poll Service, 15 Vicarage Road, Dagenham, Essex, RM10 9SD. We always advise that you cross any Postal Order that is to be sent by post.

Bank Transfer (BACS)

If you are signed up to online banking you can send a BACS payment directly to our bank account. Payments sent using this method usually take three working days to reach our account unless you are with the same bank as us (in which case it is usually instant). In the "description" field of the BACS payment you should include your post code and current surname so that we can apply the payment to the correct application. If you would like to use this method of payment, please find our bank account details below.

Pay at any NatWest Branch

If you need to pay for your Deed Poll application urgently but do not have a credit or debit card you can pay the application fee directly into our bank account by depositing the funds at any NatWest Branch. Payments made at a branch usually appear in our account within just a few minutes of you making the deposit but may not show until the end of the day. If you would like to use this method, please find our bank account details below.
